The Soup in the Park Program was started in 2013 as a solution focused partnership between Street Culture Project, City of Regina, Regina Downtown Business Association, and the Regina City Police. The partnership was made to create a resource for street involved people, with the intention of providing a higher level of safety for evening, downtown shoppers.  SIP is located in Regina’s downtown plaza at Victoria Park during the months of March through October, weather permitting. Street Culture’s SIP provides all downtown residents with nutritional soup and a connection to Street Culture and community resources such as health and addiction services as well as housing and shelters.
